John Hunt

John Hunt Born Melbourne in 1956. Living and working in Berlin since 2013. Self taught artist working in ink and oils. Held his first one-man exhibition at Leveson Street Gallery in 1976 with regular solo and group shows thereafter. Interests drawn initially from the landscape through to jazz and urban scenes have produces varied subject matter. Light an mythology has been a recent working and currently a re-engagement with the figure has provided new inspiration. Geboren in Melbourne in 1956, lebt und arbeitet John Hunt seit 2013 in Berlin.
